The Applicant, American Riviera R.E. Company/Palm Court Inc., Requests Conditional Use Approval in Order to Operate a Commercial Parking Lot, for Valet and Self Parking, Operating After Midnight, and Within 100 Feet of a Residential Use or Residential District, at 340 23rd Street (File #1422).
VOTED 6-0 TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, DELETING CONDITION #3 RESTRICTING LOT TO USE ONLY BY APPLICANT.
2. Conditional Use - Parking Lot - 211 22nd Street
The Applicant, American Riviera R.E. Company/Palm Court Inc., Requests Conditional Use Approval in Order to Operate a Commercial Parking Lot, for Valet and Self Parking, Operating After Midnight, and Within 100 Feet of a Residential Use or Residential District, at 211 22nd Street (File #1423).
VOTED 6-0 TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, DELETING CONDITION #3 RESTRICTING LOT TO USE ONLY BY APPLICANT.
3. Lot Split - 1550-1560 Lenox Avenue
The Applicant, BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc.,is appealing the decision of the Planning and Zoning Director to deny a proposed division of property (Lot Split) made pursuant to Section 118-321 through 118-323, relative to the division of property consisting of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10, Block 65, COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION (6-5) at 1550-1560 Lenox Avenue, in order to effectuate said division of property. 4. Ordinance - Oceanfront RS-3 Lot Width (Altos Del Mar)
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida Amending the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, Amending Chapter 142 Entitled "Zoning Districts and Regulations", Division 2 Entitled RS-1, RS-2, RS-3, RS-4 Single-family Residential Districts Section, Section 142-105 Entitled "Development Regulations and Area Requirements" by Setting the Minimum Lot Width for Oceanfront Lots in the RS-3 Zoning District at 50 Feet; Providing for Inclusion in the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida; Repealer; Severability; and an Effective Date. VOTED 6-0 TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE AS PER STAFF RECOMMENDATION.
5. Ordinance - H. P. Board Membership Category: Architect/Engineer
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida Amending the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, Amending Chapter 118, Entitled "Administration and Review Procedures", Section 118-103, Entitled "Membership" By Changing the Historic Preservation Board Membership Category of Engineer to Engineer/Architect; Providing for Inclusion in the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida; Repealer; Severability; and an Effective Date. VOTED 6-0 TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF AN ALTERNATIVE VERSION OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD, CHANGING THE CATEGORY TO AENGINEER REGISTERED WITH THE STATE OR ENGINEERING FACULTY MEMBER@.
6. Resolution - Revised Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR)
A Resolution Adopting the Revised City of Miami Beach Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) and Submitting the EAR to the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs and Other Appropriate Agencies. (File #1431)
