a. DRB File No. 11469J, 1000 Collins Avenue - The Fairmont Hotel. The applicant, Bascones Enterprises, Inc. is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to partially change the copy of a historic sign due to alleged infringement of federally registered service marks.
b. HPB File No. 1116, 1000 Collins Avenue - The Fairmont Hotel. The applicant, Bascones Enterprises, Inc. is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for Demolition to partially demolish a historic sign and change the copy due to alleged infringement of federally registered service marks.
CONTINUED to 7/13/99 in order to allow the City Attorney time to research the trademark infringement issues.......
2. 234 - 242 WASHINGTON AVENUE - THE WASHINGTONIAN

The applicant, Dov Dunaevsky, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for Demolition to demolish an existing structure on site in conjunction with the restoration of an existing bungalow and the construction of a 17-unit, five (5) story apartment building.

The applicant, The Sagamore Hotel Corp., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review Approval for revisions to previously approved plans for the new construction of a penthouse addition to a four (4) story cabana building.

The applicant, Pinnacle Investment Properties, Inc., is requesting Design Review Approval for the demolition of an existing motel in order to construct a seven (7) story office-retail structure with frontage on both Collins Avenue and Indian Creek Drive.

2. DRB File No. 9611, Ocean and Easement Parcels located at the southeast corner of South Pointe Drive and Ocean Drive - Ocean Parcel. The applicant, South Beach Ocean Parcel, Ltd., is requesting the approval of a phasing schedule for a phased development permit for a previously approved condominium project.

Appeal of Administrative Denial
1. DRB File No. 11154, 6770 Indian Creek Drive - Manhattan Towers. The applicant, Manhattan Towers, is appealing an administrative denial of an after-the-fact paint application which exceeded the original scope of approval, and which contains a supergraphic.

1. DRB File No. 11584, 2900 and 2901 Collins Avenue - The Regent Hotel (a/k/a Seville Beach Hotel). The applicant, Seville Beach Hotel Corp., is requesting Design Review approval for the demolition of three (3) existing apartment structures, in conjunction with the phased construction of an eight (8) story condo/hotel tower and five (5) level parking garage at 2900 Collins Avenue, as well as the renovation of an existing hotel and cabana structures at 2901 Collins Avenue, inclusive of a five (5) story rooftop addition.
CONTINUED to 7/13/99 in order to address FAR and design concerns....
2. DRB File No. 11471, 2021 - 2031 Meridian Avenue - Meridian Manor. The applicant, Jonathan Fryd, is requesting Design Review approval for the construction of an eight (8) unit, five (5) story townhome-apartment building to be located between two existing garden-style structures.
