Critical Mass, a bike ride event that draws thousands of cyclists, will be coming to the streets of Miami and Miami Beach on Friday, July 30 beginning at 7:15 p.m.
This is not a city-sanctioned or permitted event; however, in the interest of public safety MBPD will have officers at key intersections along the route.
We ask that residents plan accordingly as this event will adversely impact traffic for a minimum of three hours.
Cyclists will enter Miami Beach via the 79 Street Causeway, continuing along until making a right at Indian Creek Drive, a right on west 41 Street, left on Pine Tree Drive and then merging onto Dade Boulevard. At Dade Boulevard, cyclists will head west towards the Venetian Causeway where they will exit Miami Beach and continue into the City of Miami. Click here to view the event map.

Netflix will be filming a production in Miami Beach on Saturday, July 31 between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the Julia Tuttle Causeway (I-195). During this time, eastbound and westbound traffic may be held for no more than five minutes at a time, for a maximum of three instances per hour.
There may be additional traffic in areas leading to and from I-195, but no rerouting of traffic will be necessary. To avoid any traffic impacts, residents are encouraged to utilize the Venetian Causeway or MacArthur causeways during this time frame. Police and Fire will have full access in the case of an emergency
The film crew has been working with the city, Miami-Dade County and the Florida Department of Transportation to accommodate this filming and minimize any traffic impacts.
