The restoration process includes removing one inch of the existing asphalt pavement to expose the base rock, reworking the base rock where needed and placing two or more inches of new asphalt pavement to match the final elevation of the roadway.

Several residential roads on the Venetian Islands are in poor condition. The city will renovate the roads to extend the life of the asphalt pavement by several years.

This project will restore the asphalt pavement in residential streets on both the north and south sides of Di Lido, Rivo Alto, and San Marino Islands.
