The primary objectives of this project are to strengthen bicycle safety and connectivity, encourage alternative transportation modes, and enhance the overall mobility experience for cyclists, residents, and visitors.

This project will be carried out in the following order to ensure successful completion and effective implementation:

• A Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) will be established to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic throughout the construction process.
• Removal of the current west edge and center lane pavement markings.
• Installation of Raised Pavement Markings (RPMs) to help define the new bike lane.
• New road striping and signage will be installed to clearly delineate the new bike lanes.
• Installation of FDOT-approved Zicla Zipper Bike Lane Delineators to separate bike lanes from vehicular traffic.

The project boundaries are 26 Street to 41 Street along Indian Creek Drive.

This project is scheduled to take approximately 7 months to complete.
