Project Limits

  • Portion of Neighborhood No. 8 Central Bayshore “A” bounded on the north by the south right-of-way line of 34 Street; on the east by the west right-of way  line of Pine Tree Drive; on the south by Dade Boulevard; and on the west by the Miami Beach Golf course. The project area includes that portion of Prairie Avenue between Dade Boulevard and 34 Street, North Meridian Avenue from Dade Boulevard and 28 Street, and Sheridan Avenue from Pine Tree Drive to 28 Street.

Project Status:
Please note: Water main installation is complete. Drainage design is currently paused at 75%. The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Advisory Services Panel completed a review of the City’s stormwater management program. The project will continue to move forward following direction from the City Commission based on the ULI panel’s recommendations, best practices and Jacobs Engineering’s review of the City’s stormwater criteria and suggestions for project sequencing.

 Scope of Work 

Construction of the portion extracted from the Neighborhood No. 8 Central Bayshore A. The work will include, but not be limited to, site preparation/ earthwork, roadway reconstruction, curbing, water main installation, and water service relocation; installation of a stormwater pump station, and storm drainage infrastructures
