PLEDGE TO PROTECT
As part of the Race to Trace program, the City of Miami Beach is excited to offer local businesses the opportunity to take the Pledge to Protect to ensure an environment that is safe and healthy for both employees and customers during this challenging time.
As part of the Race to Trace program, the City of Miami Beach is excited to offer local businesses the opportunity to take the Pledge to Protect to ensure an environment that is safe and healthy for both employees and customers during this challenging time.
To take the Pledge to Protect, businesses must commit to:
- Promoting a culture of health that reduces the spread of COVID-19 in our community and contributing to a steady and sustainable recovery.
- Implementing CDC, Miami-Dade County, and Miami Beach protocols, including:
- Daily health screening
- Enhanced cleaning and disinfection
- Wearing of masks and other personal protective equipment
- Social distancing
- Enacting contact tracing internally or with the Miami Beach Race to Trace Resource Team.
- Following CDC guidelines for employee testing and quarantine.
As part of Pledge to Protect, businesses will receive:
- Access to the Race to Trace team to receive COVID-19 safety and contact tracing information.
- A certificate acknowledging participation in this important health initiative.
- Marketing collateral for managers and employees.
- A window decal for local businesses to display identifying their business as having taken the Pledge to Protect.
