Miami Beach Hall of Fame Unveiling

WHO/WHAT: Recognizing individuals that have made a positive impact in the community, the City of Miami Beach will induct the inaugural class of recipients into its Hall of Fame at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Thursday, September 26 at 10 a.m.

The prestigious honor acknowledges those that have left a lasting legacy on the internationally recognized paradise and shows their unwavering dedication to the city they love. From previously elected officials to esteemed artists, the first six inductees to be admitted include Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Norman Braman, past Mayor Matti Bower, Barbara Capitman and Morris Lapidus. Inductees will be celebrated with a plaque to hang indefinitely in the South Hallway of the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center.
