City of Miami Beach Releases 2020 RFP Applications for HOME Investment Partnership and Community Development Block Grant Funds

The City of Miami Beach is excited to announce the availability of FY 2020/21 HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to support projects, programs and activities by area providers aligned with the city’s Consolidated Plan. Proposals may be submitted by not-for-profit or for-profit corporations or partnerships and must take place within the City of Miami Beach and benefit its residents.

“This is a great opportunity for funding development and rehabilitation of affordable housing — a critical need in the City of Miami Beach,” said City Manager Jimmy L. Morales. The city will accept applications from qualified entities for the following activities:

• Public Services such as: child care services, youth services, senior services, homeless
  prevention, homeless assistance, services to special populations, health services, and
  others.
• Non-Public Services such as: capital projects that address infrastructure needs and the
  creation and retention of affordable housing.

A mandatory pre-submission meeting for applicants will be held February 4, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the Office of Housing and Community Services conference room located at 555 17 Street, Miami Beach, FL.
