The South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series celebrates local favorites and award winning students this summer throughout Miami Beach – On Lincoln Road, Collins Park and Normandy Fountain. Enjoy great JAZZ from New Orleans style, French Gypsy, Latin, Golden Era Retro, the Great American Songbook and more plus Theater, and Dance at these Free community events. Brought to you by local non-profit Power Access, the South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series promotes the organization’s mission of Awareness, Accessibility, Opportunity and Inclusion in the Arts for people of all abilities. This series of FREE cultural programming is made possible through the City of Miami Beach’s OnStage program and Lincoln Road BID in partnership with Normandy Fountain and Collins Park.
Friday June 28th 7:30-9:30pm Euclid Oval Lincoln Road – The French Horn Collective
An authentic and original French Gypsy Jazz and world music experience.
Friday July 5th 7:30-9:30 Euclid Oval Lincoln Road – Trad 305 – New Orleans style Jazz 6 piece with procession down Lincoln one block at beginning and end.
Saturday July 6th Collins Park 5pm-7pm – JECC Bootcamp Ensemble with Nicole Yarling and guests. Jazz Education Community Coalition led by esteemed artist and educator Nicole Yarling, Power Access scholarship winners, special guests.
Friday July 12th 7:30-9:30pm Euclid Oval Lincoln Road – Magela Herrera Quartet
Smooth jazz and latin rhythms featuring vocals and virtuoso flute.
Saturday July 13th 7:30-9:30pm Normandy Fountain – Yamit and the Vinyl Blvd.
Sophisticated and fun, a vintage sound showcasing Jazz from the 20’s to the 60’s, the golden era.
Sunday July 14th 5:00pm- 7:00pm Euclid Oval Lincoln Road –
5:00-6:00pm Area Stage compilation performance showcasing ITP and conservatory students.
6:00-7:00pm Davis and Dow Trio Euclid Oval Lincoln Road – performing the American Songbook featuring vocals, guitar and sax.
