Gather oceanside for an open air concert featuring the Zisl Slepovitch Klezmer Trio, on Sunday, March 24 at the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a free weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 5:00 PM.
Zisl Slepovitch is an internationally renowned multi-instrumentalist, conductor, composer, arranger, translator and music and Yiddish educator. With expertise spanning the clarinet, saxophone, flute, piano, keyboard and vocals, Slepovitch has made significant contributions to the music world. He has collaborated with celebrated artists including Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Bell, Ron Rifkin, and Joel Grey. Additionally, Slepovitch has worked with directors such as Edward Zwick and musicians like Michael Alpert, Frank London and Yale Strom.
