As part of the Black Owned Business 305 (BOB 305) campaign for Black Business Month, we are pleased to share that the City of Miami Beach is partnering with the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT), Miami-Dade County Office of Innovation and Economic Development and Miami-Dade County Departments/Divisions of Environmental Resource Management (DERM), Building, Procurement, and Water and Sewer, in a "Business Concierge and Licensing Day”, on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
All businesses are welcome to this event which will offer personalized customer service assistance to new and existing Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County businesses, including, but not limited to, Business Tax Receipts (BTR), permitting, licensing, and navigating the municipal systems to ensure businesses are prepared and empowered.
Representatives from both the County and City of Miami Beach Procurement Departments will be present to encourage businesses to register as vendors and enhance their business capacity. Miami-Dade County Office of Small Business Development will also be on site to help qualifying businesses obtain certification in the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and the Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) programs.
