If you are a creative person who enjoys utilizing mixed media, this is the workshop for you to explore your visual ideas.
In this two-day workshop, you will practice and learn the art of using more than one medium to create your project. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist who has never explored taking things apart and putting them back together or using 3D objects such as wire, wood, string and other mediums, this workshop will guide you to do so.
The techniques in the visual arts are endless, so get ready to paint, collage and texturize with the use of magazines, newspapers, photography, and your own objects on canvas or paper.
Before the first session, it will be helpful, for inspiration purposes, to look up the art of mixed media, outdoor paintings and posters. Also, explore the exciting world of graffiti and murals to see what other artists have created. Your participation and input will be beneficial during each session as we explore different techniques while creating your “masterpiece” and most important of all, having fun in the process.
