Forest Bathing at the Garden
Sunday, March 24 • 10am–11:30am
Experience the Garden’s Forest Bathing workshop with Karina Del Punta, PhD, an award-winning molecular biologist, artist, and certified Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) guide. Inspired by the Japanese practice Shinrin-yoku, Karina will guide the class through a sequence of “invitations” designed to help participants slow down, open the senses, move into the present moment, and explore the environment with curiosity. Forest Bathing amplifies the therapeutic and restorative effects inherent in nature and helps individuals tap into their innate creative and healing potential. A large number of scientific studies show the practice to have a wide range of benefits on people’s physical, mental and emotional/psycho-spiritual health.
Class size is limited – don’t wait to reserve your tickets.
