In collaboration with Fundarte and The Bandshell Laboratories, comes this opportunity to join the world renowned dancers from Rio de Janeiro’s Compahnia Urbana de Dança on the dance floor at The Miami Beach Bandshell. Miamibloco’s Bateria Saideira will provide the dynamic grooves for attendees to dance and be lead on an experience of embodiment. We highly encourage a suggested donation to the group of $15 or more in order to continue to sustain cultural programing in our community* This event marks the first date of a 3 month Miamibloco spring season, when Miamibloco rehearses and offers percussion workshops, classes and performances around Miami, culminating in the Miamibloco Brazilian Social at The Bandshell on Memorial Day Monday (5/29/23).
