A Forum on Our Unhoused Community

Please join the City of Miami Beach Human Rights Committee as we engage in a community discussion about the current unhoused community. We will hear from local experts on relevant issues and discuss possible solutions. A short panel will take place, followed by a community discussion with breakout groups.

The welcome address will be provided by Miami Beach Commissioner Alex J. Fernandez and the panel will be moderated by Pridelines Executive Director Dr. Edward Summers. Panelists include Favela Miami Founder Valerie Navarrete, City of Miami Beach Homeless Program Coordinator Janay Guerrero and Legal Services of Greater Miami Chief Advocacy Officer Jeff Hearne.
