Capital Improvement Projects
The Office of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) oversees multimillion dollar investments in quality of life infrastructure including prioritization of sea level rise with stormwater and right-of-way neighborhood improvement projects, parking facilities, parks improvement projects, and sustainability and resiliency projects necessary to improve, enhance and maintain facilities and infrastructure to meet the service demands of residents and visitors to the City of Miami Beach. 305.673.7071
City Clerk
The Office of the City Clerk serves as the Municipal Secretary of the City, the Official Secretary of the legislative body and the Supervisor of Elections for the City of Miami Beach. City Manager

The Code Compliance Division enforces the City Codes uniformly, ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and quality of life for the residents, businesses, owners and tourists of the City of Miami Beach. Education & Performance Initiatives
The Office of Education and Performance Initiatives is vital to the development of community partnerships that enhance educational opportunities for Miami Beach residents and the implementation of performance initiatives that drive organizational improvements. The office has numerous responsibilities within the City and works with all City Departments to facilitate and provide consulting, advisory, and organizational support services. Fire
The Fire Department is made up of dedicated professionals whose mission is to provide our residents and visitors with the highest level of safety and security through the delivery of fire suppression, emergency medical services, disaster response, ocean rescue, fire prevention, public education programs, and public safety communications. 305.673.7120
Fire Division of Emergency Management
The City of Miami Beach is prepared to handle any emergency – from severe storms and hurricanes to potential health hazards. Our trained professionals in the Office of Emergency Management are responsible for the coordination of all emergency preparedness within the City of Miami Beach. Planning
The Planning Department is dedicated to developing, refining, and implementing a comprehensive urban planning vision for Miami Beach with the goal of preserving the integrity of the City’s unique design heritage and enhancing the quality and diversity of the urban experience, inclusive of its residential neighborhoods, business districts, resorts, recreation, and entertainment areas.
