Sidewalk cafes

Restaurants must obtain a sidewalk café permit before providing sidewalk service to patrons. This permit, which is reviewed by various City departments to ensure safety and design appropriateness, must be obtained prior to the placement of any tables or chairs on public property. Fees apply.
