Parking Permits & Discounts
The Resident Parking Program
Miami Beach residents who provide proof of residency are eligible for parking programs and discounts, which include the following:
Resident Discounted Rate at On-Street/Off-Street Meters:
Pay only $1.00 per hour at on-street and off-street meters.
Text Before Tow:
Starting May 12, 2025 get a text notification before being towed, with a 15-minute grace period to move your vehicle. No notifications will be issued for freight loading zones nor life safety violations, such as vehicles parked in fire lanes, blocking travel lanes or occupying disabled parking spaces
Garage Parking:
Use ParkMobile to pay for garage parking at a discounted rate.
Monthly Parking Rate:
Discounted monthly rate of $70.00 plus tax at municipal lots and garages. Subject to availability. To place your name on one of our waiting lists, please call 305.673.7505.
Transaction Fee Waiver:
ParkMobile and PayByPhone will waive transaction fees for registered Miami Beach residents when used for on-street, off-street, or garage parking (ParkMobile only for garages).
Residents participating in Residential Parking Permit Programs, with confirmed residency in the past year, are automatically enrolled in the Resident Parking Discount Program.
How to Apply
Apply for a Residential Parking Permit
Once your permit is active and residency confirmed, you'll be automatically registered for the
Residential Parking Discount Program.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
VALID:
Photo ID (local, state, or federal agency ID like driver’s license or passport).
Vehicle Registration (in your name).
Vehicle Insurance (if registration is under a different name, provide proof of insurance).
Proof of Miami Beach Residency (no internet/electronic bills accepted): One (1) of the following monthly bills/statements with your name and address, mailed within the last 30 days:
Utility bill (electric, phone, gas, cable).
Mobile phone carrier statement.
Bank statement.
Credit card statement (obscure credit card number).
Vehicle insurance statement.
Mortgage statement.
Property tax statement (most recent)
Apply In-Person: Bring the completed application and required documents to:

During regular business hours – Check waiting times.

Submit Your Application By Email: (Do not include photo ID in email)

As a Property Owner you can register for the Residential Parking Discount Program.
