How do I Qualify for a Miami Beach Citywide Hybrid Vehicle Parking Permit?
Do You Own a Florida State Registered ILEV, EPA Smartway, or Street Legal Electric Vehicle?
If you answered yes you can get a 50 percent discount on residential decals. In addition, a limited amount of citywide decals (1000) will be available for $137 (tax included) per year. These permits are honored at metered areas only (on street and municipal lots).

Required documents:
State or federal agency picture ID, Passport, or drivers license.
Vehicle Registration
Utility bill (gas, cable, phone, FPL); bank statement; or credit card statement dated within the last 30 days. (excluding monthly parking permits)
“Smartway” designation.
Not a City Resident?
If you reside outside the city but own a qualifying vehicle, you can get a 50 percent discount on monthly parking permits at city garages and lots. In addition, a limited amount of citywide parking decals (1000) will be available for $137 (tax included) per year. These permits are honored at metered areas only (on street and municipal lots).
Also two percent of the parking spaces at the 42 Street garage; one percent of the parking spaces at the 7 Street Garage; and one percent of parking spaces at 13 Street garage are assigned for ILEV/smartway/electric vehicles only.
