Disabled Parking Program

Continue to receive waived parking fees.

The City of Miami Beach has initiated a registration program allowing disabled permit holders to register their disabled permits and continue to receive waived parking fees.

Effective May 1, 2024, regular parking fees will apply at all municipal lots and garages unless your disabled permit is registered under the City of Miami Beach Disabled Parking Program. For on-street parking spaces, disabled permit holders who do not register will continue to receive a maximum of four (4) hours free parking unless a shorter time limit is posted.

Registration will begin on April 1, 2024.

Registrants must appear in person at the City’s Customer Service Center, located at
1755 Meridian Avenue, 1st floor.

An application and consent form must be completed, signed, and notarized*. The consent form will authorize the city to verify the information provided by the registrant with the practitioner who approved the issuance of the disabled permit.

Applicants will need the following documentation:

  • Disabled Placard and registration
  • Driver’s License or State Identification
  • Practitioner information, including Practitioner License Number
  • Vehicle Registration

*A notary public will be available at the Customer Service Center at the time an application is submitted.
