On Thursday, August 29, 2024, via Zoom, at 7 PM, Miami Dade Poet Laureate and the Betsy’s Poetry Curator at Large, Caridad Moro-Gronlier will host an online literary event featuring nine writers participating in the The Betsy’s 2024 Escribe Aqui/Write Here Festival including: Mary Block, Kai Coggin, Catherine Esposito Prescott, J. Paul Heiner, Liz Kleinrock, Michael O’Mara, Miranda Ramirez, and Raena Shirall. Now in its 10th year honoring the work of inter-sectional artists, the project is funded with support from The Betsy Hotel and Perez CreARTE, to include artist residencies in The Betsy Writers Room and free public events – live and virtual.
