PROPOSAL DUE DATE PURSUANT TO RFQ 2024-366-WG SOLID WASTE CONSULTING SERVICES

Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 pm on September 4, 2024, electronically only, through (www.periscopeholdings.com or www.bidsync.com). By means of this RFQ, the City is seeking a qualified independent consultant to provide solid waste consulting services, including but not limited to, review and assessment of current operational functions, research of other coastal cities that may operate under a single hauler or hybrid model, including analysis, potential financial impacts for Fiscal Year 2025 and beyond for city-added responsibilities, and assistance with the development of a solicitation.
The selected consultant shall be precluded from bidding/responding to the competitive solicitation to provide commercial/residential waste management services
A Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled to be held on August 13, 2024, August 8, 2024, at 10:00 am. Attendance for the pre-proposal meeting shall be via telephone and recommended as a source of information but is not mandatory. Proposers interested in participating in the Pre-Proposal Meeting must follow these steps:

Any prospective Proposer who has received this RFQ by any means other than through Periscope S2G must register immediately with Periscope S2G to ensure it receives any addendum issued to this RFQ. Failure to receive an addendum may result in disqualification of the proposal submitted.
