In 2013, the Flamingo Park Memorial Football Field and track was renovated. Updates include renovation of the bleacher building, press box, restrooms and concession stand in compliance with ADA standards, installation of artificial turf and field drainage to accommodate for football and soccer games and an eight lane running track surfaced with material that is guaranteed to also withstand bikes and rollerblades. This field is used 12-months a year by a wide range of players that includes the Parks and Recreation Department, high school, civic leagues and charitable teams. Several NFL players train on this field during the off season.
The football field is available for rent Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM, Saturday - Sunday, 8 AM - 9 PM.

Events lasting over four hours will be charged an additional $65 / hour. Additional costs may be added for field marking and set up preparation.
Rentals are not available on holidays or holiday weekends.
Setup and clean up time are included within the 4 hour rental. This includes set up and breakdown of all vendors.
