The City operates several affordable rental housing projects in the City including:

  • The London House Apartments – 1965-75 Washington Avenue, 24 units

  • The Neptune Apartments – 1632 Meridian Avenue, 35 units

  • Madeleine Village Apartments – 7861-71 Crespi Boulevard, 16 units

  • The Lottie Apartments – 530 – 75th Street, 9 units

  • The Corals Apartments– 795 81st Street, 5 units

Utilizing State and Federal funds, the City acquired and maintains these properties to serve very low-, low- and moderate-income households. Funds are also utilized to rehabilitate the residential properties, in order to ensure property standards are in decent, safe and sanitary conditions. The following projects are currently underway:

  • Lottie Apartments Phase 2 Rehabilitation– Scheduled commencement date: TBD
  • Madeleine Village Apartments Rehabilitation– Completed March 2023
  • Madeleine Village Apartments Seawall Restoration- Completed March 2023
  • Corals Apartments Rehabilitation– Commenced December 2022
  • Neptune Apartments Phase 2 Rehabilitation– Commenced March 2023
