Benjamin Braun joined the City Attorney's Office in 2019. Mr. Braun’s areas of practice include employment law, federal and Florida constitutional law, and general civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Mr. Braun also handles code enforcement matters before the Special Masters of the City of Miami Beach.
Prior to joining the City of Miami Beach, Mr. Braun served as a judicial intern for United States Magistrate Judge Edwin G. Torres of the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Braun was a summer intern with the City Attorney’s Office in 2018.
While in law school, Mr. Braun was the Executive Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review Journal, and a Member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Additionally, as a third-year law school student, Mr. Braun worked as a Research Assistant for Professors Frances Hill and Irwin Stotzky.
