Gather oceanside for an open-air concert featuring prolific piano jazz virtuoso Daniel Asbury Mixon and jazz vocalist Carole Ann Taylor at the Black History Month edition of Ocean Drive Association’s free weekly music series on Sunday, February 19. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 5:00 PM.

Veteran jazz musician Danny Mixon has performed with jazz legends like Charles Mingus, Yusef Lateef and Pharaoh Sanders. Renowned jazz vocalist Carole Ann Taylor began her career as a young singer with  legacy jazz artists like Duke Ellington and Lionel Hampton. She is an active member of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and maintains her involvement in civic affairs.
