Bradford Kaine
Brad Kaine is an accomplished Public Works professional currently serving as the Interim Public Works Director for the City of Miami Beach. With a City of Miami Beach tenure that began in January 2020 as Sanitation Director, Brad has over 23 years of experience in municipal Public Works and Utilities Administration.
Previously, Brad held the position of Public Works Director for both the City of Weston (7.5 years) and City of Dania Beach (4.5 years). His expertise extends to managing and leading hurricane storm recovery efforts following significant events such as hurricane Frances, Jeanne, Wilma, and Irma.
Active in the American Public Works Association (APWA) since 2000, Brad has been a steadfast member of its Board of Directors since 2005, excluding a brief hiatus in 2019. Currently, he serves as the Vice Chair of the South Florida Branch and as Committee Chair of Solid Waste for the State of Florida APWA. Additionally, Brad is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
Beyond his professional endeavors, Brad has been an avid tennis player for the past 25 years.
