Miami Vice had, and maintains 40 years later, worldwide fame unlike any other TV show in history. We think we all recognize that this is well deserved and way overdue and Miami locals who saw how the show transformed it would agree. Back in 1984 Miami Vice is what started the revitalization of Miami Beach and brought back tourism.
All of the events will take place across Miami Beach. There will be Filming Location Guided Tour Buses & also Guided Walking Tours. An actual Miami Vice Museum is being constructed with the largest collection of Miami Vice memorabilia in existence with screen used badges, props, wardrobe, guns, production materials and never before seen behind the scenes photos from the show’s time filming in Miami Beach. The original screen used White Ferrari Testarossa & (3) of the original screen used cigarette boats will also be in attendance. There will be photo/autograph meet & greet opportunities with stars from the show and other celebrities for tourists and fans. There will also be a several VIP Miami Vice Hospitality activations like a Cigar Lounge located on Espanola Way as well as Dinner Experiences with Cast & Crew members at the Miami Beach Restaurant ” A Fish called Avalon.”
Proceeds after costs will benefit the Police Officers Assistance Trust (501c) for the families of Fallen Miami Dade Police Officers. In the past the show & its cast often did many charitable and promotional events for Miami Police Officers and the city, and we wanted to keep that beautiful theme going.
