The North Beach Oceanfront Center is a City-owned building located at 7251 Collins Avenue. The Center is a multi-use facility that was designed to activate Bandshell Park, the adjacent oceanfront sand bowl, and allow for accessory uses for the adjacent Miami Beach Bandshell.

The building was developed and built by UNIDAD of Miami Beach, Inc., as part of a long-term Management Agreement with the City of Miami Beach that allows UNIDAD to manage the Center by day as the North Beach Senior Center and a cultural arts and event venue at all other times.

The North Beach Senior Center is the City of Miami Beach’s only stand-alone Senior Center, providing Miami Beach’s senior residents with a plethora of social activities, wellness classes, nutrition support, recreational activities and cultural programming, including art, dance and music.

The Center is operated by UNIDAD in partnership with the City of Miami Beach, the Alliance on Aging and Miami-Dade Public Schools—and is open to all age-eligible Miami Beach residents and free to the public.

The proceeds from the GO Bond will be used to update the Center’s catering kitchen, make acoustical improvements and install a much needed sound system – all of which will enhance the Center as an attractive oceanfront venue for cultural programming and community use.
