After School / Summer Camp
Fee reductions and/or waivers are available for qualified Miami Beach residents. No Miami Beach child will be excluded from After School or Summer programs based on their inability to pay. Scholarships do not include payment of the applicable activity fee for after school of $50 and summer of $75 which must be paid prior to start of program. Only approved scholarships with registration packets will be considered as an “enrolled participant”.

Specialty Camps / Classes / All Other Applicable Programs
Residents of Miami Beach may apply for a scholarship and will be notified of eligibility at least one week prior to start of program. Scholarships for these programs are limited and based on availability and space. Scholarships for specialty camps & classes are limited to a one (1) time usage for the summer and a one (1) time usage during the school year, based on availability. Only approved scholarships with registration packets will be considered as an “enrolled participant”. 

Proof of Residency Requirements
Scholarship applicants must provide one of the following: Current lease or property tax statement showing your homestead exemption or approved exemption application AND two of the following: Picture ID, voter’s card, driver’s license and/or utility bill to verify residency.  Plus a copy of participant’s report card for all program locations and a copy of the most current income tax statement for income verification. W-2's and paycheck stubs are not excepted as proof of income.  If the applicant/participant qualifies for free/reduced school lunch the applicant receives an automatic 50% scholarship with school letter as proof. The City reserves the right to require additional documentation, when appropriate.
